More than just an electronic medical record, BadgerNet is a complete perinatal care service.

The BadgerNet service ensures that the system continues to evolve for all our users and data is stored securely and safely at all times. Key benefits of having software delivered as a service include:

Onsite clinical specialists:

Clinical specialists from Clevermed support units even after the go-live period. For BadgerNet Maternity and BadgerNet Neonatal EPR, this includes site visits on a regular basis to ensure the system continues to support local requirements.

Regular updates:

The system is regularly updated in response to changes in technology, innovation, customer suggestion, or regulatory requirements. All changes are included as part of the standard BadgerNet service charges.

Hosted infrastructure:

BadgerNet is hosted on a high-availability secure national NHS Network site. This not only provides for a stable platform, but also the ability to create regional or national records for women and babies if required.

Fully supported:

BadgerNet is supported 24/7. Specialists are available in the company to help with all clinical, technical, or reporting requests and queries.

What is BadgerNet?

BadgerNet is an end to end service supporting all aspects of electronic recording for women and children’s health.

From a clinical care perspective it includes care records, access to view and interact with their care records for women and families, and tools to support those looking after women and children.  This includes interfacing to key devices like monitors and CTG machines.

In addition to direct services, the BadgerNet platform also includes a suite of reporting and interoperability tools.  This includes the BadgerNet Spine, which allows for the joining up of information into a single record across networks, regions, and countries.  The BadgerNet Spine allows regions to have a variety of maternity systems and joins the record together following a detailed and carefully documented rule set.
