The BadgerNet Platform provides a scalable and very configurable solution for detailed patient data recording and reporting. The Platform currently supports three services:

The BadgerNet Neonatal Service;

The Badgernet Maternity Service; and,

The BadgerNet Paediatric ICU Service.

It is provided as a managed service, creating a seamless clinical care record for hospital units in the United Kingdom. Being the latest version of the "Neonatal.Net" platform that is already in use in over 180 hospitals throughout the UK, it has been designed by clinicians for clinicians. BadgerNet user groups meet regularly to ensure that the continuing development of this unique system responds directly to customer demand. The BadgerNet platform includes powerful reporting features to provide each NHS Trust with comprehensive statistical information.

Easy to Use: Little training is required, as the BadgerNet Platform is an intuitive, easy to understand system. Missing data is clearly identified and all patient data is guaranteed to be safe and secure

Reduces the Work Load: Centralised data collection for audit, analysis, and reporting purposes ensure that all appropriate data is efficiently captured. Logic within the system ensures that reminders are issued to collect the correct data for each patient.

Managed Service: There are no additional development costs and users are insured against their data management system becoming redundant as all upgrades are provided free of charge. The BadgerNet Platform evolves along with users needs ensuring that all relevant data is captured and reported in line with the current regulatory environment. As a fully supported system, Clevermed will ensure that users are able to meet their data management needs at all times.

Collects and Reports All Necessary Data Items: A single record of care for varying types of care, no matter where that care takes place is produced. In addition, reminders ensure that clinical issues as well as data management issues are highlighted in line with the needs of the patient. All data sets for reporting purposes are collected.

The BadgerNet Platform can interface with all existing local, regional, and national patient data systems and bedside medical devices where required. Clevermed has extensive experience in creating and maintaining many PAS/HIS system interfaces as well as real time bedside medical device interfaces.

Clevermed has a dedicated systems interfacing team that provide local PAS/HIS solutions throughout the UK. HL7 messaging (any version) is fully supported, along with any other protocols where needed.
