BadgerNet supports the delivery of the new generation of Badger Systems as a fully managed service from a secure, robust data centre across the NHSnet where they can be accessed by any user with the appropriate level of authority from any connected location. BadgerNet has been designed to be used at the point of care with both the patient and hospital staff in mind – it is fast, intuitive, flexible, reliable and scaleable – with information collected being immediately available for care planning and risk management.

BadgerNet is in its final stages of development and testing. The core Maternity and Neonatal modules are due to be ready for implementation
during summer 2007. It is planned for all existing Badger3 hospital installations to be migrated fully to the BadgerNet
system before the end of 2008. Clevermed will ensure a seamless conversion from existing Badger3 systems over to the new BadgerNet solution.
